Congrats on the promotion. Being an officer for a reputable company is a huge deal. I wouldn't worry too much about the cubical thing. Everyone is in one anymore. Office space is too expensive these days. We are moving into a sky rise in KC in 2 months and most of management is losing their offices. It's too save money.

 

awd, sorry man they dont give out samples. i've been in cubical city for a long while. only a few offices on the whole floor. upper mgmt guys, but a few are cool guys.
it is recognition and sort of a status symbol. it means mgmt thinks well of you. i've put in my dues for many yrs now and its finally paid off.


cary12 we own the building but space is still a premium. so its cubicles for 99% of the people.

congrats man, extra week of vacation can't hurt for sure. i, too, am stuck in a cubicle, just the way it is these days.
