Graduating...finally
I defended my thesis this week and everything went well. So after a little bit of paperwork, I will have a M.S. in Applied Physics. My thesis focused on the ALD of TiO2. I grew thin films one monolayer (one layer of atoms) at a time. It was really cool!!! If anyone is checking out Thin Solid Films Letter, we are getting published at the end of the year.
So now I have lots of time to revive a bunch of off topic threads
I want to treat myself to an upgrade for the b5. I was thinking about a JHM short shifter. I also need to contact GIAC to get a more aggressive tune that will work with the N75J.
Im also looking for a job. There is a bunch of research opportunities in MD, so with a little luck I should find something.
It feels good to be done with school. Somewhat strange...but good.

anyways, congrats man, thats awesome.

Thanks guys.
ALD = atomic layer deposition, its actaully a simple concept - digital growth of thin films one monolayer at a time, google it sometime. It is one technique that could be used to replace silicon in computer chips.
anyone have anything bad to say about JHM ss?
what about an economic suspension upgrade for the oem sport suspension. rear sway bar would be nice, what about stiffer, lower springs?
