Back to the original intent of the thread...rants about taxes: I am 22 and in college, work about 35 hours a week, about 110 comes out of my paycheck every 2 weeks for taxes (plus ~20 for my 401k). I hate taxes. I also have a solution for you guys. The Fair Tax. It is more complex than I would like to delve into right now, but I have been meaning to create a thread on it and will do so in a few days. However this thread seems an appropriate place to post about it. If you are serious about hating paying taxes (mostly with regard to payroll taxes) and would like to keep what you make, go to fairtax.org or boortz.com.

 

Yes, taxes suck, but you just accept it. Just wait until you finish college & get a really good job that pays alot of $. Then, when you do your taxes every year, if you make good money, you just might be lucky enough to have the pay the AMT (alternative minimum tax).
