Sucks man I am sorry to hear. I did the same thing at a much lower speed on my bike this weekend too. Riding behind my buddy I thought he was jumping out into the intersection and I knew I could make it too but I had to jump on it a bit, he didn't think I could make it so he stopped and I took my blinker out and roughed up my fairing on his muffler. Luckily he had no damage or else I would have felt really stupid. Hopefully its totalled if it is going to have engine problems now.

Possibly. but with VDC and all that, i still had no chance. crappier tires, first rain and a heavy intersection, **** was hella slick, i hit the brakes and it just slid before abs had a chance to do anything... it sucked

Wowzers.. Ins called me today to tell me the damage.

$11,450. its not totaled. Ins thought about it but the shop told them no, too nice and low miles, they said everything can be replaced.

but check this... Ins lady told me just over $3500 for airbags. damn. i did not think that much.

anyways gotta go in tomorrow to the body shop and ill get a copy of the estimate, scan it, and post it for all to see.
