was driving along doing about 35-36 approaching an intersection, there was a car approaching the intersection in front of me and the light was just turning yellow, it looked as if the car was still traveling thru, i turned my head briefly and turned back and the car was at a complete stop. hit the breaks and slid prolly 40 feet (it had just rained today after not raining in quite a while so the roads were hella slick) and this is what happened

its completely my fault. got a ticket for following to closely, now i gotta wait and see how much the damage is.

The engine sounded really pissed off too. leaked antifreeze on road, you can see the air filter as well, it was clicking pretty bad and didnt run well when i pulled it off the road.







and the lady i hit.... Nothing compared to mine. it sucks.

yea, everyone was ok, my passenger and the lady i hit, were all fine thank god. that was my first reaction was making sure no one was hurt.

the only damage im realy worried about is the mounting bracket there in the frame. that could suck. what u cant see in the pics is the passengers side quarter panel got pushed back and the door creaked when opening as well. the engine did not sound happy either.

 

Yeah, it seems like the bumper got pushed into the engine. I can't tell if it hits the chassis though. At least the airbags worked!

You're going through insurance right?

 

Both airbags blew... not a good sign for repair

yea ive thinking about that. i wonder how much damages will cost, both air bags, the body mount... ???

oh and i almost did the same thing. there was someone at a stop sign infront of me and she started pulling out... so i looked to the side to see if it was clear for me to go and as i started going i turned back to look ahead and she had stopped half way through the sign and i had to go almost off the road to keep from hitting her

 

that suck and glad everyones ok, but being the arrogant ******* i secretly am, i totally blame the toyota. how dare a POS like that not go through the light, those toyota drivers are just as bad as the subaru LOVE drivers.
