Thanks ohioguy, I am going to be working in the IT department of a large local telephone company. They started as a phone company but now they provide DSL, digital cable, cell phone service and a bunch of other stuff too, its a pretty solid place to get into around here!

 

about a year ago i was in the same position as you: finally landed a secure job (IT stuff) and wanted to upgrade. i got a B5 6M S4 and i don't regret it one bit. it was completely stock when i bought, i just had it chipped and i totally loved thing. i just wish it snowed more here this winter...we had one fun storm.

 

I just did some quotes and the S4 for me to insure would be NASTY! Of course I am still on my parents policy, so it wouldn't be AS bad. But when I move out it will kill me!

Jazz was right the A6, with the exact same engine will cost considerably less to insure. I am seriously thinking of going the manny 2.7T A6 route...
