Spent many summers there on the island. You'll see the Blue Angels and other fighters from time to time as the AFB is not far.
There used to be a great Tikki bar there as well called Juana's Pagoda. Sand floor for when you fall off a stool.
Great places nearby as well and on the outer side of the island, the water is crystal clear. It is hot though. Have fun and congrats.

If you are talking the one at navarre beach, we were just there about a month ago. Her sister lives just down the street and you can hear the bombs from the testing grounds on a quite night.

We just had the house inspection today and had a little scare. There was a wet spot on the front and they thought there was a chance of mold. We got lucky since it was just a wet spot from the gutters and not a hard fix. The girl already has a honey-do list forming so i will be busy after we get there.
