RE: Going Vegetarian?
I've thought about it, but I've never completely gone through with it. Istill like most chicken dishes, and a burger occasionally, but most things I won't eat. It's been months since I've had bacon, fried chicken, pork chops, and, well, most kinds of pork, for that matter. It's been years since I've had a steak, though.
I would definitely try it out, if I were you. I'd probably be a little more into it if my parents would embrace it more openly. [:@]

Can't say that I have... As a matter of fact I just had a nice steak for dinner. [&:]
Make sure you're still getting enough amino acids, protein and iron. Nuts, legumes, and grains are very high in protein. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich would be a great choice for lunch.
Eggs, milk, and fish will also help out a lot if you choose to continue eating them.
Also make sure you have a good multi-vitamin, to help replace the nutrients your body needs.
If you have any questions I'd be more than happy to do my best and answer them!
Good luck!

Wow Panda! I am impressed!
I actually do this particular stuff regularly, except when we go out for BBQ's of course. [8D]
It's part of the diet/work outprogram that I am in.
If losing weight is your goal (which I won't understand why) you should go with white meat for the source of protein. Note that it can not be fried but boiled (the best) or grilled (depending on how it's done also).

I don't see the point.
I don't see the point.
For example if you're trying to eat healthier; red meat is very high in saturated fat.
It could also be because the person is looking out for the animals.
What ever the reason may be it's not for everyone, and is a personal choice.
