Check Blue Book and Edmunds.com for pricing information as a base. That will help determine what you should generally expect to pay.

Most lenders and dealerships concider vehicles 5,000 miles and under as NEW. So, don't expect too much off. But on the other side my sister just baught a Trailblazer with 8,000 miles and got 12K below sticker. You could try to talk them down some.

Try it for an 04 and see whut comes up... Whatever figgR U get I'd say go halfway between that and what they're askin and start YOUR negotiating from there. The '06's will be out REAL SOON and dealers teh wolrd over will be trying to unload their 05 stock before fiscal year end (not the same as calendar year-end) or be stuck payin taxes on it in addition to what they're already payin the factory to keep it on teh lot. They're more anxious than they let on (obviously), believe me. Low-ball them. Work the price down like you're tryin to get the financing to a specific digit. (of course, this angle ASSUMES that YOU have your OWN financing already lined up that they do not YET know about) Let them think that you're angling for a certain monthly payment and they'll drop the up front price thinking that they'll make it up in finance charges. (that's where having your OWN papers already negotiated come in handy)

Also, they will normally be more willing to deal at the end of the month. Having stuff on inventory for another month really hurts them and they love to get stuff moved before they have to show it on the books for another month...
