Whats up all. I havent been on in awhile so I thought I would give an update. The good news is that I am fixing to leave Afghanistan and go home. The bad news is that I will only be there a couple of months, and then I am redeploying to Iraq for 12 months. What a kick in the teeth. That is ok though, this unit and the dumbass leadership that is in place right now throughout DOD has helped me make a decision to get the hell out as soon as possible (April 08). I am gonna stop for now before I get on a rant

Yeah! Keep coming home safe until you can GTFO, then you only hafta worry about YOUR homeland security, if I remember correctly.

Yes, you remember correctly. But that wont be an issue. When I go to Iraq, I will be under stop loss, again. So as soon as I get home this time we are putting the house up for sale and we are gonna rent a friends house who is headed to iraq also. Then when I leave again, I am just gonna send the mrs and the little one out to Oregon to buy a house and get a job, etc. That way when I am finally "ALLOWED" to leave the army, at least we will already have a place to live and one income, instead of losing both at the same time.

I wish it could be true bro. The upcoming will be deployment #4 and I am tired of leaving. [&o]
