Gas prices...again

RE: Gas prices...again
Truth is though, lets say you go out to eat 9 times a month. If you cut down to 7 times a month assuming you spend about 30 bucks a meal you could easily cover any increase in gas price. Lets say gas was 2.50 a gallon and jumped to 3 bucks. If you have a 16 gal tank on empty and fill it up thats 40 bucks, if gas is 3 bucks a gallon thats 48, thats not a whole ton of money, so don't stop by mcdonalds one day. Gas prices are rising and it sucks, but sometime i think we blow it out of proportion.

I haven't checked prices lately around here, but I heard that California's gas supply is unaffected by the Gulf. Not to say oil companies won't take advantage of this though, I'm sure. Gas Buddy has prices in my city ranging from 2.79 to 3.15 (not sure which grade, but 2.79 sounds like 87 oct., 3.15 91 oct.).
