my roommates dad works where they distribute the gas (don't know the correct name for that), supposedly they are out of gas, but this is down here in s.carolina..... he called us last night to tell us that this week it is supposed to keep going up, so refill as often as we can..... the other thing he told us was that they may restrict who gets gas, so you may have to go a few days at a time without filling up, unless you are an emergency vehicle.... i guess kinda like back when that one time it depended on what number your license plate ended with for the day you were allowed to fill up.....

I dunno how accurate all this is, but this is at least what he was told at work, he's also off work for the week bc like i said their center is just out of gas......

i filled up last night at about $3/gallon

the brits are paying like 6-7$/gallon so we dont have it that bad.

They took a hit but to effect it immediately like that. From the time it is pumped from the ground, refined, and at the pump is at least a year. For it too effect us like this is obsurd.

I think what they are trying to do is raise the gas prices so drastic that when they come down to like $2.50 a gallon everyone will be happy with paying 2.50. It also dosent help our GREAT president is so closely tied in with the oil business.

Our gas went from 1.00 a litre to about 1.25 a litre overnight. Sweet! I think it is back down to about 1.04 in a lot of places... but time will tell.

These gas companies must be giddy, with their new found realization of what they can get away with charging.
