Tell me about it. I have a garage, but it's full of a partially dismantled 300ZX, that car's engine and transmission and various other parts (including 10 wheels for it), tools, shelving, detailing supplies, and a ton of lawn and garden and home-repair sh*t (I have a home-improvement side business). Once I can get the car out of there, and put up a shed, I'll be in business - then the "mahal" part starts, including overhead arc-lamp lighting, epoxy floor, overhead air feeds, etc. Can't wait

*correction* went and changed my oil today- bays are only 5 bucks an hour at the Auto Craft Center... BTW, not to steal the thread, I put in Valvoline full synthetic 5w30, not on the Audi approved list, but by weight it should be okay, right? Been running Mobil1 10w30- I know, I'm retarded- and decided to get closer to the recommended weight.

ok, heres our "shed"....

30'x40' steel building, on a 6" concrete pad w/ double rebar for weight handling (we need to bring a kenworth in here sometimes), 23' peak, 16' eaves, 6 skylights, 18' high rollup door on one end, 8 foot roll up on the other side, making 2 bays in an "L" shape with LOTS of space around them. (somehow it always seems to fill with crap though.) We assembled the entire thing, the only part we DIDN't do was finish the concrete.

Fully equipped with 5 horse 225 gallon compressor, 110/220 mig welders, ancient gas-job stick welder, 42" band saw, JD2 tubing bender, Tranny rebuild table, Tire machine, tire balancer, roll-able engine hoist, 2 giant propane torpedo jet heaters, tv, couch, and required beer fridge.

from the house, the trailer and bulldozer and the rest of the crap blocking the view are now gone.

Wow spanksta your "shed" is MASSIVE!

UpstateNYA4: Be careful when building a shed...
Like the Mod Bug that's how it all starts! First one little shed to store some things...
Next thing you know you'll be running an auto repair shop out of your home!

Yeah it's a major bummer! At least my garage mahal is still availble... Just 130 miles North.
My Gramps built the garage along with the house. He use to be a Bus Mechanic, and even at 81 years old he just never stops moving!

And yet somehow we never seem to have enough space? We constanttly say if we were to build it again we'd go 10 feet bigger in both directions.

LOL don't I know it. That's OK though - I wouldn't mind doing that rather than working my current job

Installing my exhaust-
The car under the cover was my roommates Z3, that he might have driven 100 miles a year.
