You mis-read.. he said no to his daughter, not his Wife. His wife liked a car and he suggested they purchase it but she still said no. His young daughter thought the S8 was the coolest car she had seen, so she suggested her dad "chef" buy it, but the sticker on that is 107k!

So chef is telling his daughter, "no".. not his wife

Lol... I want the bmw because it says bmw... yikes, youre in for a long road.

But all aside, i do like the bmw's, something about them the drive very smooth.

I drove a 335xi on saturday. Was very impressed.. Definately with teh tunning capabilities..and the transmission feels like butter. The one complaint i had was teh throws in the shifter...felt like i was gonna throw my arm out it was so far. (You must realize that i have a modified shifter so most will feel like this... but i have felt bmw's shifters are rather long always.)

 

Oh yes, I know this. I am trying to "break" her of that whole...... thing........

 

at least shes looking into the E36 m3s - a classic nonetheless.


Chef - i agree w/ your decision to not purchase said S8...

thats a little over the top for a 1st car.
go w/ the Rs4 to start off.. [:-]

 

you should have said;
