I would drive a civic, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them -- they are actually phenomenal cars. If you are aiming for a point a to point b car, its one of the best options out there. Beats the snot out of cavaliers and the like.

Modding a civic... well... I don't know. 98% of the civics that are modded, are just sad... very CHEAP mods, mods that don't work together at all... and just really pevert the car. The other 2% of them have serious work put into them, and those guys have a passion for cars, just like we do. They just chose to start with a 2500 lb platform, that they know can be made into quite a rocket. Comfort, fit and finish, doesn't really phase them... but I repeat, there is no denying, there are plenty of civics out there that would spank each and every one of us -- so if you're wanting speed and only speed... why not?

Oh, plus, imagine being one of the 2%... everytime you pull up to a fast car... the owner looks over and thinks your another stupid civic owner... so say... some mustang driver, figuring he's about to hand another civic his ***... and all of a sudden, boom. Gone. Some 11 second civic with a 20 year old behind the wheel, just dusted his v8. It'd be satisfying!

 

Headshok...got a point! There are several civic owners that knwo what they do.....but a very small %. At the end you are going to decided between speed and class.
