I've seen deer a few times since I've been driving, but luckily haven't even come close to hitting one. I've been seeing them almost daily on my way home from school lately.

But seriously, that does suck, and it's a good thing your car wasn't damaged any worse than that. If you're going for an OEM bumper, why not get the USP bumper?

 

Had one cause $4,200 damage to the wife's Explorer a couple of years back. This was in broad daylight, about noon on Hwy 395 near Mammoth Lakes, CA. One of the hooves came through the right lower W/S and almost hit my daughter. Has glass and deer blood all over.....

Of course the same daughter did $11,000 damage to the same vehicle recently........

and I thought VBIED's were bad...well they are, but they dont get away if you justclip them

hit a deer near Federal Way many years ago (while stationed at Ft. Lewis) totally screwed up the front bumper of my ex-wife's civic, airbags didn't deploy however

...the deer hobbled away

 

Maybe you should pay more attention but yeah that sucks man, good thing there wasn't more damage to your car. **** happens.......

 

yeah, that totally sucks, ive been so lucky, ive never had a close encounter.
