haha its all good. i wont take that personally. but yeah i would imagine that a bulb would help...the only thing is the added weight. and yeah i wouldn't put in 400 either. not worth it. especially on the lake...not big enough. the sail boat i race on we top out at 4knots under power and that's just fine to get around...shelburn to platsburg towing a dingy was kinda a long trip but what ever. you could also try a different prop.

yeah, the 400 wasnt a serious option. Again, this is a houseboat, not a speed boat. Unless the lake is calm, Im restricted to 6mph or so anyway unless I want **** to start flying off of shelves.

As for weight, I dont imagine more than a couple hundred lbs or so. Like I said, the boat weighs 15,000lbs. Whats a few hundred more?

well when you do that V8 swap in your TT you'll have a spare engine to put in your boat lol.

Think a TDI in both the car and the boat would be fun. Above water exhaust on the boat, but not like boats normally have. I want stacks on the back of the houseboat.

More stuff I found. Open Source FTMFW.

I need to pull my desktop out of storage so I have some power behind these programs since my linux netbook isn't really designed for this sort of stuff. I have no background in it though, so if you can get a chance to try this stuff out on a linux machine, let me know, since I know already I'll be stumbling for a bit while I work the learning curve.
