Thank you for the comments.

And yes, I pretty much live in the middle of nowhere. LOL. I usually try to find abandoned spots to take my pictures, though.

I'm glad you got the stock grill back on! Looks way better

What do you use to resize your pictures? They look choppy.
Cool pics though!

It's actually an OEM S4 grille - and yeah, I like it a LOT better.

I've been noticing how they look after resizing - I use Jasc Photo Album, which is what my computer came with. I can upload them from the camera at either 1280x960 or 640x480. I really wish there was an inbetween. [:@]

It's not an SLR - it's just a Sony Cyber Shot 5.1 Mega Pixel. I'm going to save up for an SLR - hopefully get one sometime this summer.
Damn... you are talented. I better start playing with my Olympus.

Thanks!!

It's really bothering me that I can't resize them to my liking without breaking up the image quality, though. 640x480 seems sooo small. I uploaded the majority of these pictures at 1280x960, then resized them to 772x580 (60% of the original size), and I love the size - it just looks terrible the way everything is choppy.

Try hosting the full size pictures on imageshack and tell them to resize them. Also you can download a 30 full trial of Adobe Lightroom and you can do some AMAZING stuff in there. You can also resize easly.

Josh

P.S. Nice pictures. Those are not half bad. Like someone else was saying just work on composition a little bit. Also regarding your night pictures, the reason they didn't turn out very well is because your camera doesn't like night at all! If you want to get better pictures you are going to have to use a manual setting of some kind. What your camera is doing is taking a reading from the brightest spot in the frame, which just so happens to be the lights, so your camera is trying to get that as a correct exposure and since the lights are SO much brighter than anything else, everything else looks really dark. Night shoots are hard to do and have everything turn out right. Especially if you are not doing any post editing. But you are on the right track!
