lol... I get frustrated sometimes - my guy has three weapons and whip out a one and lose! lol

So is there any strategy to this like who you pick to fight against, or is it all just random luck if your character wins the fight?

I find that fighting someone with either similar skill levels or equal levels fair the best - but I'm still learning which to choose
