what a bum deal.. what happend to the 50k he droped on the car.. lost.. will he get anything back

 

Asset siezures aretypically turned over to the US Marshals service..He's screwed. About the best he can do is wait for it to go to auction and buy it back from himself....[:@][:@]

 

yea I highly doubt hes getting that 50k back by any means, that car was amazing too.... its a shame

 

yea he should stay in contact with the FBI and find out when the are gunna sell it and pick it up then

 

Well, if there’s any validity to this guy’s story and he is legit (but terribly naive..) he should contact the office of the FBI involved with this case and the asset seizures. Being a federal case, all assets will be turned over the US Marshals service in conjunction with the courts for identifying, cataloging and in many cases ultimately go to auction. If he’s willing to be patient and friendly, he might get the info and contacts made available to him to be there at the auction his car may be in. It would help to be ready with some kind of proof that he had a legal interest in the vehicle so the agent in charge would take him seriously and have pity on him..[&o]

he would have saved 50k if he had just gone onto the internet and looked at the rules for titling cars in his home state. this complicated story about a high gov't official not needing a title for a car is just stupid. any title issues should scare anyone off from buying a car. if the deal is too good to be true, then run away...
