I beleive the the Euro model has both that light up. Rear fogs have been around over there for decades. Americans would be more inclined to miscontrue TWO rear fogs, which is is why they don't both work, IMO. I say re-wire, and use it to make tail-gaters BACK-OFF! when they get too close...
