Just curious... did you specifically need/want DVD capabilities with Navigation?
The only reason I ask is that I couldn't see myself using Nav for a daily driver. Although, I would definitely install it on a cruiser or weekend-trip, vacation-vehicle. Unfortunately, I don't drive long distance and to varying locations on a regular basis for me to require it.
Instead of the D3, would you recommend the 4000 (DVD, no Nav)? At least I could have something to do in rush hour traffic.

It's more than just a DVD/Nav System. I also got it just because of the screen and the customizablility of it. I also bought the XM Radio adaptor, Ipod cable and bluetooth cable for it. It will be sweet!
