It's from a DJ out west. He has a show where he does this sort of thing - he doesn't give up the truth until it's all over! There were a bunch of guys on another forum (can't remember which one) that brought it up originally. They later told everyone on the forum who it was and that it was part of the DJ's morning show. I think the best part of the prank is getting people to call in to the radio station and then these callers get all pissed off at the "character"!
