I am wondering if I should buy an extended warranty for my car. The warranty is now out and I had to sink $1200 in repairs in 2 months time, and now I need to have the transmission Module replaced.... That is another $1800.

I can buy a bumper to bumper warranty for 4 years/60,000 miles for $2880. It covers EVERYTHING.....even towing and rental car, all parts & Labor ect. It would have a $100 deductible. I am not required to take it the Stealerships for the repairs....so long as they ASC certified.

So basically I would put $288 down and pay $144 a month for 18 months with no interest.

Got to decide quick before I spend another $1800 on the car

I would. Audi's cost a ton to maintain, as you and i have discussed, and it sounds like a good deal to me

 

$2880 for 4yrs/60,000 miles vs. high repair costs, I would go for it
