My father and I are going to look at this guys EVO VIII tomorrow. 28k on it (high milage for 2005 daymn) and hes asking 21,000 obo (cause of high miles i guess). Blue, brembo brakes, recaro seats...looked at it in the dark, so maybe we can go look tomorrow for a better look. I think it would be a nice project car for performance mods...and its even practical with AWD.

yea, easy to modify, and parts are more than abundant. Just gotta find out if there is anything seriously wrong with it...although that would be fine considering i want a project car.

 

Just remember that evo's have a 4500 service period, and oparts can be expensive... If you drive like a hooner you will go through a fair few clutches... Other than that, you're a git if you get one..I am officially jealous...[:@]

love the evos! so comfortable and def turns heads. i took one for a test drive and around 2500/3 grands that turbo kicks in and puts u to the back of ur seat. love the power, def an awesome car, gl

 

anyone know what kind of turbos can be swapped into an EVO? Like direct bolt on.

 

I'd enjoy the evo as it is for a while, before you want to upgrade...It is an awseome car stock... give it a chance!

 

well yea i would drive it stock for awhile, but for ***** and giggles i was just wondering.
