Everyone who views this and owns an audi post how long you've let your timing belt go for.
include you're model, engine etc.

me - '96 A4Q 2.8l 12v 140,000 so far since change @ 70,000

So, your current milage is 210,000? I'm confused!

I sport a Scooby, now, but I let my '99 D2 (back when i had it) go 'til somewhere around 93k miles before it's TB service.

This is a stupit idea for a thread, BTW... I LUV IT!!!

oh...just read the instructions to this thread.

never changed the timing belt.
have 60K on the clock on my 05 S4 SPRINT BLUE cabriolet.

Dude you're nuts!

I had my A4 done at 75k, it had 111k when I killed it. The S4 had it done in Jan by previous owner at around 70k. Both are 01s.

i just had the timing belt changed for my vw. the original belt had 61,000 miles on it and it looks perfectly fine. not a single hairline crack anywhere.
