since cops tend to run plates from behind more often than from the front, it would stand to reason you'd be better off with your illegal plate in the front...

Also, maybe order one that mimics your cali plate numbers/letters...

And, legal plates front/rear, when you go to court to get the tkt lifted.

That's weird how he pulled you over just because of the plate.

They would usually issue the fix it ticket in addition to bigger offense (if they decide to pull you over) or they would issue one while you are parked in certain areas (Downtown LA, LAX, and some other cities are known to give out tickets for no plate while parked).

the cop was actually waiting to do a u-turn on the other side of the street & I rolled by at 25mph (35mph zone). He does his u-turn and I see him speed up ahead of me & look @ my front plate, I started to laugh as he drifted behind me.

He was a chill guy, it was my 1st ticket in my entire life...anyway

He says "Do u know y I pulled u over?"
Me "Ya thought I was Lindsey Lohan?"

I've seen every eposide of cops btw. Communication & a lil humor goes along way.

If i said that to a cop in Baltimore where I live, he would club my face and drag me out of the car.

And where I live, I've been pulled over and told the cop:
"just so you know, I have a condition one firearm (round chambered, safety on) on me"

and the cop said:

"So?"

And then I got a warning for no inspection. The End.
