EDIT: Older Asian Female Drivers That Are Affraid of the Sun
I was just wondering if California was the only place with people like this
Have you ever driven on the streets or freeway and turned your head and see a middle ages asian lady all covered up like she was affraid of the sun, they have long sleave and gloves on and my fave they are wearing sun visors like this

They think its a sin to become dark and i was wondering if you have those kind of people in your area

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but in the Asian cultures (at least Korean, my wifes old boss), he said having a 'tan' or being dark is a sign of a lessor class of people, i.e. laborers, people that have to work outside hence the darkening of the skin. The elite classes get to stay indoors and maintain that pale complexion. Same thing in the older days, when folks, even men, would powder themselves for that sickly pale complexion, and that was the Europeons so I guess not distinct to the Asian cultures, but the Asians appear to continue to practice that belief.
They are smart though, in general, they tend to have an appearance much younger than their ages. It's us jackasses that tan all the time and look like old luggage even though we are only in our thirties!

I think I told the story on here before about how all of the hot chicks in Vietnam would not show up outside until after 4pm and then they would where shades, hats and elbow length gloves to protect themselves from the sun. They looked incredibly hot in this get up too. They all looked like they were riding their scooters to breakfast at Tiffany's.
