HAHA!

I would never believe that unless I had myself lived in California - there'd be some idiots down there

Hasn't happened with the Audi, but one evening I had parked my 300ZX right outside the door of a gas station, facing in, and ran in for a coffee. The girl at the counter said, "I really like your car." "Thanks, I love it." She replied, "Yeah I wanted a Saturn too, but I ended up with a Civic." OUCH. Guess it must've been the headlight shape...?

^^ooooohhh that's rough... yeah I guess the headlights could do it. She didn't see the profile of your car though. I think (hope) she would have seen the drastic difference then.

Yeah, I'd like to think so. Even my 89 year old myopic neighbor could tell the difference between this:

you know, upstate... when you put the two of them side by side, I can kind of see where she's coming from. Some of those body lines are pretty similar. The front and back ends are very different and even at a quick glance, I wouldn't mistake one for the other, but I can see some little girl that doesn't know anything about cars getting them confused.
