dumb question?

Default dumb question?
im going to look at an A4 on monday or tuesday.. it says in the paper that its a 1999. how will i know if its a 99 or a 99.5.. or is there a difference? i thought i read that 99.5 is better..

the 99.5 has clear side indicators, the A4 and 1.6, 2.8 or whatever is in the middle of the rear bot, instead of the top of it.. there is an article somewhere..I'l see if I can find it
