Who cares about the guy? What a dumb ***. At least he didn't kill someone. Why would someone still drink and drive?

See it all the time. Just 4 months ago and kid had his 21st birthday - him and 2 buddies went drinking - he was behind the wheel of his '98 Jeep Cherokee. Flying down the highway - lost control, flipping the Jeep (rolled 4 times) took out 3 other cars.

Both he and one of his passengers died at the scene. Fortunately, no one else was seriously hurt. 14 people were involved

So, I'm thinking, just losing his job - for the time being - might be the lesser of two tragic outcomes...

That sucks, tell him to get a lawyer before the court date and he might be able to get off a little easier.

9 times out of 10 when you're buzzed and driving you'll get pulled over for something OTHER than DUI. Then they get a look at ya and smell your breath and it's over.

Lame

Its so true, you see it on tv all the time. Cop sees someone speeding, a broken headlight, etc.thats all they need. If you know theres something wrong with your carthat would attractattentionwhy would you do something illegal with it?

P.S. Those cops have some really strong noses, I work at a bar and I don't even think I could determine the smell on someone's breath as fast as a cop lol

He used to come over here in his Roush ‘stang all the time. Looks like he won’t be around anymore..Too bad. I liked the guy..
While I appreciate the story...seems to me that this shouldn't prevent him to come by anymore and spend time you and your family...if anytime a person needs real friends it would be now, rather than critical judgement and isolation from those he has been calling friends.

I don't suppose you meant it that way...but in case someone read it as that, I thought I would throw that out there.

Cheers.

Like ToTaLeD, I'm 19. I was hit by a drunk driver... now I have the TT.

...and college tuition.

But really, it was a dumb choice, but eventually he will recover. I'd go for the euro-tuning idea, I mean that is a big thing to get into, if he's good at what he does.
