So, make sure you tell the insurance company, when they call, that it was a "Classic," and mention how difficult it's going to be to find a comprable replacement.

thats the whole reason im so pissed off, we paid 900 plus tax, titles, stickers, ect, ect, ect, we probally have a total of 1500 into the boat. the thing is that we feel this was the best boat we coullda possibly got for that money. we looked everywhere for almost a month and couldnt find a boat that even runs for the price we paid and this thing was a top of the line boat in 73 it had gauges, built in gas tank, seats were in good shape, motor runs like a champ and was serviced already this year, it was perfect for us.

I feel your pain, honestly I do. That's why I'm suggesting you PLAY UP the "Classis"-ivity?-ness?-whatever, of the boat, and tryN milk it for every penny you can get. Check out the BoatAuction link I posted, and, if you don't see anything right away, keep checking back. You might get lucky and be able to put your reimbursement towards something equally nice, albeit for not a small a price, prolly. Don't dwell on how F'd up things can sometimes be. Get back up, dust off, make the best (and maybe learn a little sunthin, too, about drinking and boating... sermon endeth), and move onward and upward years from now you'll be able to look back and laugh and the drunk biatch, and teh look I'm sure she had on her face... For now, MAN UP, take the lumps that live sometimes gives ya, and do it better next time.
