Default Drove the S5

I drove the S5, manual. Awesome car with serious torque. Weight distribution is great, reduced understeer, plenty of power. Interior is impeccable. Handling was outstanding. Most people will love this car.

Are you looking for a new car or just took the opportunity to test it out?

I'm seriously considering the S5 - since they totally jacked up the new TT (all I wanted was the 2.0T with quattro and manual gearbox - sheesh!)

Did you get to beat it or just casually cruise?

Casually looking but may pick up interest in the spring.
Don't hate. Go drive one.
I red lined in 2nd, which is where the damn thing really jumps, but did not keep it there. The sales guy was in the back seat. The car did not shut down.
I gave it some work to do. downshifted from 3rd to nd heading into a pretty tight curve and it jumped into it with some serious force but held on like a tiger. Didn't go nuts but it was certainly not a smooth little jaunt. Each dealer here got 1 gray demo and blacks for sale. they all sold withing the first two weeks of being here and the others they've ordered so far are spoken for. There is a red one on the way that I think would look exceptional. This one had the carbon fiber interior with red and black leather.

Glad you liked it. I've only sat in the S5. We had one at the local dealership in red I think, and apparently some guy came in and bought it without even driving it.

Great, glad you liked it. I like both the new TT's and the A5/S5's better than the B8 A4's.
