Friday i was at work just getting onto my lunch break when my best friend rolls up in a yellow C5 z06 with gunmetal wheels. Sexy. Im not a corvette fan generally but I think i just became one. His moms friend let him borrow it untill saturday if he cleaned it, so we head off for a little drive. The car sounds incredible. We come to a complete stop in the middle of the road, he revs it to 4k and drops the clutch. Those 295 Eagle F1's roast through first, james power shifts into second and break the tires loose again untill the back end starts walking out on us. Amazing.

2 hours later (yeah i just left work hah) after cruising around and running through 1st and 2nd a bunch of times he starts giving me a talk about how he trusts me, how i drive a powerfull car as a daily driver and just not to do anything stupid. We park on the side of the road and i look down at my timberland work boots, looks like imdoing this barefoot..... SHIBBY!

I get about 3 miles of a perfectly paved dry curvy NH back road going up hill. Hell yeah. I wasnt too crazy but it really makes me realize what a true sports car is. I booked it up the road spending alot of time in 2nd. Opened it up full throttle to almost 100mph before testing the brakes out. Wow best time of my summer so far.

Sorry to the 6 or 8 pedestrians and school bus of children i scared the **** out of in the bad yellow btich.
