personally I think that once your in college, it matters less if it is illegal or not because alcohol is mush easier to access and not get caught. I do believe that if you can die for you country that you can drink for it too, so one of them has to change, which one I really don't care, I just have to be a little bit sneakier about what I do for a few more years.

In my opinion I would change it to 18, I'm under 21 so obviously. I think I can control myself and be responsible about drinking as I am now but on the other hand it would lead to some problems with a large percent of other minors. It might also make sense to lower the age so kids arnt experimenting most with drinking when they get to college. If youbegin college with responsible drinking habits (or experience not sure how you can say this)and have got the "lets get f***ing hammer 24/7" out of your system kids might perform better in school since college will more or less determine the rest of your life to some extent.
Overall yes they should lower it but I do see some serious downsides.

I think if you're old enough to hold an M-16 and shoot people for your country then you're old enough to have a brewski. [8D]
The only problem is younger individuals generally have less self control, and the DUI rate would go flying up, so i think DUI charges should be made to suspend your license for a minimum of 2 years to get the point across.

i don't drink at all, i would actually vote for no alcohol because it does nothing good for you, and it's ruined so many lives.
