drilling holes in them is the quickest way i could think of to fog them up. Where are these people finding these mechanics anyway? It seems like I've heard some ridiculous things on here recently... like the guy who said porsches dont last past 100k miles and audis are shittier porsches so you shouldnt buy them... completely absurd

Agreed. You put holes in the housings and you're going to allow moisture inside, and that WILL fog it all up. Air leaks to the outside are why the cheap eBay headlights fog up. No sense in putting holes in your perfectly good housings and helping that become a problem. And as the other guys said, find a new mechanic...or do your own work (much more rewarding and more affordable).

holes = condensatation which = flickering which = no light which = $$$$$ say no to holes!
