Default dressing for an interview

talkin to some homies the other night about an interview i just got for next weekend. they tried tellin me if i wear a suit im over dressing. theres no way you can overdress for an interview right? especially if the gm of the hotel is supposed to be there. if i got 3 years experience and i wear a suit i think im off on the right foot with whoever is doing the interview...

btw its for bellman spot at this new hotel opening in san deeezy. bellman = bank for a college kid

nothing wrong with a suit. that position has high customer contact, so neatness counts. if they see you looking good for the interview , it looks favorably on how you conduct yourself overall. get a haircut, be clean shaven, clean fingernails, etc. people notice things like that even if they dont say it. espically in a service position.

always wear a suit for an interview, no matter what position you're looking at.
it shows that you care about the job enough to make that extra effort.

+1 for the suit. make sure to wear deodorant but don't smell to rich. breath mints are a plus. don't put on any gangster looking sunglasses either. make sure your wallet isn't bulging out of your pants and button up. one thing to never forget is your fly

Nice shoes, pressed dress pants, nice dress shirt and a tie.
Its not a ceo position, and personally I think if you wore the blazer it would look like your trying to hard. As long as you answer all the ?'s they throw at you asertively and confidently every thing will be gravy. Also never volenteer information, it will always bite you in the ***!!! Just my opinion, but wear whatever makes you feel comfortable on the interview. Good luck
