RE: Dream Wheels
Panda....those look great...but I have seen stuff on HREs that they are not approved for SCCA events, they have seen some problems with them in race conditions...
I think my current dream wheel is:
BBS RS-GT

RE: Dream Wheels
I still really like mine.
I really love the many spoked type wheels.
These are from Champion Audi of Florida's. They have their own race team. These are lightweight race-type wheels.
They came with the car when I bought it and I couldn't be happier. Size 18" wheel. Tires are Toyo Poxies T1-S 235-40ZR18's.
I burnt up the back tires a bit and put on a pair of Nexes tires (the Toyo's aren't even in stock here and I thought I 'd try the ones they recomended). They're ok but I really love the Toyo's. Man those things GRIP!

RE: Dream Wheels
Yeah the T1-S was my first choice in tires, or the T1-R... but the S was the one I was after.
Then I came accross my firehawks... which I'd owned a couple years prior -- and they are just sooo predictable. I'd never break loose accidentally (this was on my 350 hp trans am)

You know, I just have to agree with the dealer, 2nd gear must've just not been pressed on properly at the factory, I'm sure that's how we lost 2nd gear, at least that's the story I stuck with. But I mean, c'mon, loosing 2nd completely after only 9,000 miles! I'm not that bad of an aggressive driver. But, boy, nothing like spinning the tires all the way into 3rd. I'm talkin FUN!
