As far back as I can remember, I've never seen this much flat out racing... sure in the past peeps would cruise and sometimes race - but most took it out and away from the public (which some still do - I've got the impounds to prove it ).

But now, they race up and down through traffic like it's a game to them. I get challenged at least 3 to 4 times a week in my TT - only once did I accept and it was1 am on a road outside town as I was going home. This is uncommon and extremely dangerous. We have numerous accidents occur from this and here's the rub - half the cars we get were not even involved in the race - they were either merging on the highway or turning onto the road when a riced out civic plowed into them at 90+ mph.

Had a 05 Ford Explorer flipped over onto its back after getting broadsided by a Ford Focus just last week - wish I had taken a pic - it was odd to see the impact so low and such a large vehicle....

So, yes, mate - from my observations there has been an increase...
