hehe, I was pulled over for speeding.
The officer asked if he could sit in the car. I said fine, ok, feel free to adjust the seat to suit you.
While he's sitting there he says 'Nice, I'm considering getting one like this'. I told him where I got mine, and off he went, no warning, no ticket.

He asked politely if he could have a look at the car.

RE: A different run in w/ the Cops
I had a slightly diff experience with cops and euro-plates last summer when I still had my Volvo 850 with a Swedish plate tucked in behind my rear CT plate. I was waiting for someone in front of a train station and a bicycle cop rolled up to me and asked me why I had no front plate on my car, and whether my front plate was on a diff car. I said "no", thinking to myself - do a lot of people keep the same-numbered tags on 2 diff cars? He then looked at the back of my car and noticed the Swedish plate, came back and asked me if this car was also registered in Europe. I said "no" and after a couple seconds he pedalled off.
I understand CT cops dont get to see a lot of action, but c'mon, a ton of people in the northeast have euro-plates on their cars.
