Hey guys, yea we made it ok. We were very late, due to a number of reason's previously noted by RedGoat. My computer is still down, I'm on the laptop right now. I will get it up and running as soon as possible, and will start working on the video.

There's a shot of us doing 100+ on the shoulder, as a large tour bus is in OUR lane passing someone else. The bus had no idea how fast we were going, and figured he could make the pass before it was too late. I was really on edge, and we just about drove off the road, but it all worked out. You only live once...

I'm sorry about not making it there on time guys, we were really giving it all we could. There were alot of things we couldn't control. I hope everyone had an ok time at dinner.

Valentine worked great, we only saw 3 cops on the entire drive, and didn't get pulled over once. I was driving like a bat out of hell, even thru the small towns. I did stop for all the red lights, but failed to yeild the right of way at one intersection, and just about got myself side swiped. RedGoat chimed in with a "WTF are you doing!!!".

I'll probably be adding some video of the Valentine, keep an eye out!

a 8500 works rather well, and its not as expensive, i hear the V1s go off a little too much

Using your brain is more effective than any radar detector.

yes i know, but still, mine as well get one. I just watch teh big rigs. Say they are all going around 75 (on open roads i would say this is their avg.) and then they slow to 55 or 60 or what ever teh speed limit is u can bet u have a cop ahead. BUt a radar detector could still help me out.
