Yea, sorry I didn't answer that question for you in the PM you sent me. It's 922 miles from Prince Rupert BC to Bellingham WA. If I keep my average of 70+ that will put me on the border sometime around 9PM, but I'm planning on smashing that, by going for an average of 100+ mph. If I keep an average of 100 mph, that puts me on the border at 5:30PM. I don't anticipate me being at the border any time before 5:30PM.

You might have to be a little bit flexible with the time. I've got your cell number, so I'll be calling you a couple times throught the trip, to let you know what our ETA is. My GPS unit computes an ETA based on the current speed of the car, and also computes the average speed into the ETA, so I'll be getting a good estimate the further I go.

Still planning on using the truck crossing you reccomended. Can you find any pictures of that crossing online?

Yea, I really think the truck crossing will be a better choice. I don't want to attract alot of attention at the border... I will probably have attracted all the attention I want on the drive thru canada anyway, I don't want to be stoped by border patrol, calling to see if there are any complaints about the car driving thru the area. If I'm in Canada for no more than 12 hours, I hoping to get out of Canada before people start asking questions as to what I'm doing...

In your PM, you said you would be coming up to hang out on the Canada side of things. That's good, just in case I get stopped at the border, you will know first hand what's going on.

Thanks for the info, the live video of the truck crossing is a nice touch. Would be nice if I could give you a call when I'm getting close to the border, and have you check out the wait times for me. Might have to make a last minute switch on which crossing to use. I would think that coming from Canada into the US would be quicker than going from the US to Canada, yes? No?

actually it is the other way around. it is hard as **** to get into the US compared to into canada. We will talk closer to the date and i will be near a computer so i can check crossing times and point you in the right direction. REMEMBER your passport and be ready to go inside i have a feeling they will search your car. i would reccommend before you get to the border to probably take down all cameras and things which they could get mad at you for. trust me they can be a holes. moreover, they will have the time you went through the border last and the place.... i hope you don't get screwed because they do a little head calculation and determine that you must have been doing 100 + to get to the border there by that time.
good luck we will talk soon.
