When you debadge you car, all its sayin is"I cant afford the big boy model, so I'm gonna take the badges off and front like it is".

Back when I was in Europe (have I even mentioned how much I *MISS* Europe?), I hadda Opel Calibra, Turbo. In other words, da BIG BOY model. Had it debadged by the dealer BEFORE I'd accept delivery. Everybody assumed it was the SUCKretary's model, unless/until they got a look at the steering wheel, or the @ss-end of my car as I out top-ended them on the north side of 150mph (I was good up to about 175, bone-stock).
Bottom linne, I debadged mine so people WOULDN'T know I WAS the BIG DOG!!! In fact, not that I'm gainfully employed, again, I'm gonna start saving up and probably get me an RS4 for me, for my birthday. And, YES, I WILL debadge it (but I will keep them, to re-apply, should I ever decide to sell...), for the very same rreason as I stated above. Sure, those that know will know, but, so what, they'd know anyway. Those that don't will prolly assume it's a dressed-up 2.0T
