Hey – I have one of those 89 200 Quattro Turbos 5X5. It has 308 K on it and I use it to get to work every day (about 50 miles each way) It is fantastic. 28 MPG at 75 and 80 mph (Ok there are times we poke along at 15 to 20 when there is an accident) Speaking of an accident – I almost lost the Audi when it was rear ended by a pickup. The pickup was totaled but the Audi only needed a new bumper cover and a tail light replaced.

The car was originally owned by my wife’s boss and then sold when she got a new car. Later her husband bought it back because she was mad about it being sold. He drove it for a few years and then bought an A6 – that’s when I got it. It has been going strong ever since.

I almost forgot I bought my wife an A6 also and have an 88 90 Quarto (also a 5X5) in the garage. My daughter’s car is VW Passat so you might say we have an Audi or two at our home.

Yeah, the 200's were indestructable. I was hoping that car would get a lot more miles on it then it did.

Oh well, I bought my A4 after the 200 parished.
