i slept superlate and woke up today feeling like crap
i also had a test today which i think i bombed,
i hate day light savings[:@]
and i have one more class to go and im loaded on energy drinks and vitamin pills

I hear ya, definitely had the same experience here.

 

I only like the part when we get to sleep an extra hour, except, I'm usually on guard-duty, or sunthin, that means I get to work an extra hour FOR FREE, while my relief gets to sleep an extra hour[:@]

My stupid computer keeps going back an hour after I change it. Such a piece of crap! I can't wait until I get a new one!

Yep, waking up and finding out its really an hour ahead of what it says is the worst feeling ever. Gotta go to work sooner, that or your already late.

It's totally pointless. Why do we even have it? Oh yeah, because the government likes to have control even over the time!!

 

Depends on the contract, and how it's written. Company I'm with right now, Admiral Security, as subsidiary of Red Coats, Inc., does actually pay that extra hour, if you're on duty when it happens. They even pay you the full 8 when you happen to be on teh shift that loses the hour, too. If my site supe weren't so clueless, about EVERYTHING I'd stay with them forever. But, she is, so I won't, unless they get rid of here.

ANyway, I've been with companies that wouldn't pay that extra time, saying they had "no control" over it... I'm not with SecurPros anymore... Ooops, did I type that "out loud?" My bad! Ghetto-***'d company, run by house-nikka's and their overseers. Glad I got out when I did. I make almost 2x as much as I did with them, work less than 1/4 as hard, and, as I mentioned, I get some professional consideration when the time-change hits.

 

*lol* Try running a 320 node NETWORK. only to find out the machines didn't recieve the update patch.


Having request after requesrt come in. and causing isssues like..

Unable to login to exchange server
Unable to login computer
Unable to access acounting database

still repairing the damge it did.
