RE: D*mn Valets
how many miles r on ur car? im a valet at a very expensive resteraunt and treat every car that comes in just as i would my car if not better. turbo cars i let sit for a min or two, park the cars next to eachother so no other person parks next to them and hits the car with a door, kick my shoes togather before i get in, i never take cars around the corner or beat on them. and seeing hwo the valets kno who u r and u tip them real well it would be hard for me to believe they beat on ur car or anything like that. and ya they lost ur key, but **** happens.....

RE: D*mn Valets
maybe the keys in yur tranny, lol. i valet and, DONT EVER VALET YOUR CAR. some of the guys start the sticks 5th or 6th. pretty much everyone revs the autos real high then pops it in drive. managers try to rub out scatches anything in the back bumpers from when guys hit the wall (reverse all cars into spots) and hope the owners dont see it. id say about 90% of the guys i work w blaze. its just corrupt and i would never ever ever ever valet my car after workin where i work, and itsa pretty respectable hotel.

RE: D*mn Valets
true statement to the last two posts. i valet at two of the most expensive restaurants in the city and i know a lot of the crap that some of the other valets do and get away with. makes me feel ashamed for the most part.

RE: D*mn Valets
I have never felt ok with letting a valet park my car. A friend was working for the casino as a valet and told me many stories about cars getting wrecked from idiot valets flying down the back lot.
I wouldn't doubt that the valets did that on purpose because they had to cover the cost. Make them pay for that ****! Hopefully you can sue still even though they paid for the keys already.

well i checked the hydraulic/brake fluid levels, and they were normal - so sadly it wasn't as simple as putting more fluid in. right now the car is sitting at the repair shop waiting for them to diagnose what exactly is going on. one of my dads friends (who works at an audi shop) believes its the clutch and will run about a grand...
i was planning on getting GIAC installed in a few weeks, but it looks like i'll will have to wait a little while until i can get that done. Does anyone have the valet mode? I looked on the GIAC site a little bit and didn't see much info on it like price and how it works.
if i had another option to valeting my car, i would take it - but there isn't anything close/reasonable nearby. tonight i'll be talking with the valet guys and my boss to see are our options. im pretty sure my boss knows the owner of the valet company, so hopefully that will help in getting them to pay for the repairs (or at least part of it).
just under 120k.
