actually, rumor has it that microsoft is gonna be making a blu-ray xbox 360. so, there is another point to consider.

 

Problem is it's a rumor. If it does happen it won't be for a long time.

3. graphics cannot be compared to when using HDMI & LCD HD TV.
4. Surf the internet. Download updates wirelessly. Load operating system of your choice.and the list goes on and on..........

i dunno, maybe the kicker is the online play. I don't play anything online, so i dont care that much. but seriously who is going to surf the internet on a gaming console? I could do that on my dreamcast, and can do it on the wii, not a big deal. i know this is about to turn into a giant pissing contest, so...JUSTBUY BOTH!

 

Get a PS3 so you can play with all of us on COD4 right now! Birdflu and NaperNick are playing together right now!

Oh and i think the PS3 is just a little behind the 360, but PS3 is just as good now that they have in game XMB. But i always wish i had a 360 for one game.... Forza. IMO the GT series lacks too much good stuff

 

HAHA heck yes we did!!!! That game that you left while we were playing I ended up winning 190ish. Next guy between both teams was around 90. LOL

I prefer the ps3 mainly because of GTA4 and Grand Turismo. The graphics on the PS3 are outright amazing and look a lot compared to the xbox.

Why wouldnt you get a Blu-Ray player with a built in gaming system for about the same price of a standard blu-ray player?!?!?!

 

According to many gaming sites the Xbox 360 outshines the PS3 as far as graphics go. But, they also mention that developers seem to slouch on the PS3, since it should technically be able to be better than the Xbox 360.

The bottom line is, if you play online mainly, is what doyour friends own. All my friends own a 360, so I bought one to play Halo 3 (horibble single player, only fun online) and COD4 online with them. If they all owned PS3's, I would have gone with that.

Don't listen to fanboys.....Besides, graphics are good and all , but theydon't completely make the game.

 

Not a fan boy... I have owned both Xbox and Playstation.. I just think playstation is better in the end... And as the developers get more knowledge of the PS3's systems and whatnot the games are going to get better and better. With the bigger disc space of Blue-Ray the games are going to be better/longer.
