humidors should be kept at 70°F, 70% humidity. I'd go +3, -5 on both those numbers though and still call it acceptable.
Your biggest problem with making an in-car humidor will be temperature swings.
Take some inspiration from 'coolidors' (Palindari might wanna look into making one as well if he keeps up his buying spree)

little bits have been covered here and there thru this thread.
main thing is, its not a cigarette, don't inhale, and take your time with it.
try different styles/strengths until you find something you like.
don't buy your cigars from a gas station. A really good cigar can taste like total *** if its dried out. cheap gas station cigars are starting out bad, and going downhill from there.
Don't totally hack up/remove/chomp off the end of the cigar. If the cigar has a blunt end, it needs a punch, if it tapers to a point, it needs a cutter, but don't remove much, or the outer leaves will start to unwrap/fall apart.
last tip, if the cigar is burning unevenly, just spin it 180°, usually fixes the problem. Actually, make it a habit to spin the cigar a bit once in a while. Can't remember which way you're supposed to spin w/o a cigar in my hand. Same way it was wrapped, or again, you'll start to unwrap it.

You aren't kidding. It's almost scary. Anyone else catch the firearm ads on the "what do you carry?" thread?
