Had a little rain storm come up on the bay just as I was anchoring for the fireworks.

By the end of it, there were power lines and trees down all over town, and probably a half dozen boats who's anchors broke loose and washed these guys up on the beach.

The B.U.B. is a tank though, the worst I dealt with was a little rain water pushing thru the sliding door and getting my carpet wet. Ended up pulling 2 boats off the beach myself. Got a $60 donation from one guy. That'll pay for a 1/4 tank of gas.

I get jealous every time I hear about your house boat. When are we gonna have an official AF houseboat party?

Probably not a bad idea to try to time something with Wolfsgart July 27-29th, or at least plan for something like that next year.

Im totally down for a group to come hang out and get sloppy for an afternoon. I can dump you guys on an island for the night to camp (for free) too. That would be Valcour Island on the NY side of the lake.

Yeah, sold it and bought an allroad for a daily, and a 78 911SC all steel widebody for a project. FULL restore... like bead blast every last nut and bolt and send them all out to be re-plated with the original plating.

I'll see if I can find the magazine article. I cant remember which mag it is right now...
