(this is his email)Freddye Joe to me

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me about the 2000 Audi S4 with only 60,000 miles, in pristine condition.

My name is Fred Fauster and i am located in Brockway/Montana.

About the car:it is in immaculate condition and has no scratch on and hasn't been involved in any accident. This car is in perfect condition,is in showroom condition.Always garaged. Beautiful blue color. The title is clear.

The car is still US registered so you will not have to pay any custom taxes. The price for the car is US 5,300.00$ including the fees for the ship and insurance to your home address. For payment, I´ll like to use an eBay service,so we'll be both protected.
I will look for your email, so that we can move forward with this deal!
Best Regards,

just thought it was sooo funny

I can't believe that after going into such detail on how it was taken care of and how good of shape its in that they are only asking 5k for it! I know its a scam, but at least make it a little more believable, or say that he is moving back to Germany, and needs to sell it. Humm, that gives me an idea......

Anyone interested in an S4 is excellent condition?

Hey Tommy that S4 you're selling wouldn't happen to be "beautiful blue" would it? LOL

Yes, yes it would. It also has the RS4 upgrade! Driven by an old lady on on Sundays, too. First 9K takes it. And of course we will use an Ebay company to protect both of us.

its kinda funny... that craigslist scam email is universal. Before i got my a4, i was looking at cars and i saw a 2004 mazda 3 for like 4000. I got amost that exact same email. The next step, he tells you that the car is located in the us, but he is overseas in the military. Then he tells you to western union him the money and some overseas bank (forgot which one) will have the car shipped to your door
